WE ACCEPT MOST INSURANCE

One of the main reasons people hesitate about going into alcohol and drug rehab centers in Kentucky is the cost. At Brookside Treatment, care is accessible to everyone. We accept Medicare and Medicaid, in addition to working with the majority of insurance providers. Not everyone has access to insurance, so our addiction recovery center accepts cash payments, too.

ABOUT BROOKSIDE ADDICTION TREATMENT

Substance abuse and drug addiction are complex issues. For many, drug or alcohol addiction is a chronic struggle, and relapses occur even after long periods of sobriety. Some people might be able to break a cycle of addiction on their own, but many will fare much better after seeking treatment of some kind. As no two people have identical addiction issues, addiction treatment approaches come in many forms. Successful treatment needs to address a number of issues that have been disrupted in the patient’s life.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

If you’re thinking about starting an alcohol and drug rehab program, the chances are that you have thousands of questions swimming around your mind. Our team of friendly advisors is on hand to guide you through the admissions process and answer any questions you might have. Here are some of the most frequently asked questions we’re asked by prospective clients:

Of course, before you start any rehab treatment plan, you want to know that it’s going to be effective. Experts recommend that someone who’s diagnosed with a substance use disorder gets a detox followed by a mixture of individual or group therapy. At Brookside Treatment, we conduct assessments of each individual to find out precisely what your needs are. Our treatment facility will then create a customized program to suit your requirements.

It’s important to note that addiction is a chronic disease. An addiction treatment center can provide you with the fresh start, tools and support you need to overcome the acute stages of withdrawal. You’ll still need to work hard to maintain sobriety and relapse prevention once the course is complete.

You can bring all of your essential clothing, medication and toiletries — all packages must be sealed. You’ll store them in a personal locker during the day. We don’t permit cash over $100 or open packages at all; neither can you bring any products that contain alcohol. Weapons, electronics, drugs and alcohol are all prohibited. The only jewelry you may bring is a continually worn wedding band.

Although the thought of parting with your electronic devices may seem scary, there’s never a dull moment. Your days will be filled with therapy and activities such as art and yoga, and you’ll always have someone to talk to.

In most cases, your insurance covers at least a portion of your stay here at Brookside Treatment. We accept Medicaid, Medicare and most private insurance. The Affordable Care Act of 2009 stipulates that substance use disorders should be included in insurance policies under behavioral health. Your individual coverage plan will dictate exactly how much you’re entitled to. Speak to your provider for more information.

We treat all types of addiction, including alcohol, opioids, prescription medication, cocaine, methamphetamine and others. Our staff is highly experienced in helping people overcome all kinds of substance use disorders, no matter how long you’ve been using. We also offer support for medication-assisted treatment, although we do not prescribe medication here. There is also the treatment option to taper off from Suboxone here at Brookside Treatment.
